How much do we love the Lord?  If we love him then we will keep his commandments and act in love.  As we approach Pentecost---we welcome the Advocate who helps us be faithful and loving disciples.  How can we do this in our world today?

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life----but is he really all that for us?  During the Easter season we seek to open our hearts and be able to always choose Christ in what we say and do.  Easier said than done!!  Take a listen and find out more!

This weekend we celebrate GOOD SHEPHERD SUNDAY in which we as the sheep of the flock must always know and listen to the voice of Jesus.  Can we hear him?  Do we know how he speaks to us?  Will we follow him?  Listen to find out more!

The story of the Road to Emmaus is not just for the two disciples who recognized Jesus at the breaking of the bread.  It is for us a chance to invite Christ into our homes, hearts and tables.  Who is Christ in our world today so that we can be transformed by him?

This weekend Jesus appears to the Apostles offering them peace, giving them the Holy Spirit and sending them on a mission of mercy and reconciliation.  St. Thomas finds Christ and proclaims---MY LORD AND MY GOD.  May we be Jesus in our world today so that people can find the Risen Christ through us!!

We begin Holy Week with the celebration of Palm Sunday or Passion Sunday.  This episode Fr. John chooses to reflect on the First Reading from the Prophet Isaiah and talks about rocks.  Listen how he invites us to be much more like flint to be like Jesus in our world today.

Fr. John concludes the REPENT message series by reflecting on the powerful story of the man born blind. What do we need to let go of so that we can see Christ who completely transforms our lives?

This weekend we hear the Raising of Lazarus in the gospel.  Jesus is determined and clear in his mission to unbind us and set us free.  How does he do this in our lives and how can we help others--learning from this powerful gospel moment?

The story of the man born blind is one of conversion of heart---seeing with the eyes of faith and encountering Christ who is our light and salvation.  Jesus does not tire of entering into our lives and opening our hearts to set us free and make us a new creation.  Where are we blind to his love this Lent?  How will he help us see things new?

In the second homily of this series Fr. John reflects on the scene of the Transfiguration---a third epiphany moment in which we discover who Jesus really is as the Son of God.  We ascend a spiritual mountain each week as we gather to celebrate the Eucharist so that we can descend into the world filled with light, hope and joy.  Fr.
