Fr. John begins this new message series as we draw to the end of the Christmas season but also starting a new year. Whatever we are searching for in our lives---Christ is who we really are searching for. The Three Wise Men teach us how we should begin the search for Jesus in our lives and world.

As we return to Ordinary Time, we hear in the gospel John the Baptist proclaim--"Look, here is the Lamb of God!".  How can we be like Andrew who is so overwhelmed with joy after spending the day with Jesus.  Are we as eager to share the joy and love Jesus offers us?

This weekend we celebrate the Solemnity of the Epiphany---the arrival of the Three Kings who teach us to search for Christ offering the richest gift each us have.  Listen to find out what we can offer.  Happy New Year!!!

As we celebrate the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, we also enter into 2024!!  A chance for new beginnings, a fresh start and a re-commitment as disciples of the Lord.  May we treasure the grace given by placing Christ at the centre of our lives.  Happy New Year!!!

The prophecy of Simeon reminds us that following God's will involves sacrifice right to the soul.  Mary and Joseph dedicate their lives to Christ----may we do this also willing to offer our selves for the sake of the gospel.  Listen to hear more!!

When we encounter the Lord our lives are changed and we set out on a special journey of love, sacrifice and service---helping to build the kingdom.  As we celebrate the birth of Jesus, may we be open and respond faithfully to his call for us as faithful and loving disciples!!  Merry Christmas!!!

We are just about to celebrate Christmas and for this Fourth Sunday of Advent we read the story of the Annunciation in the Gospel.  Mary ponders, reflects and asks questions---then responds as the servant of the Lord willing to offer her life for the Good News---for the greatest news!!  May we serve for the greater good of God's glory always!  

Fr. John reflects on John the Baptist in the gospel this weekend and talks about how we can testify to the light so that others may see Christ.  Christmas is coming closer and closer---are we ready to step into the light of God's love?

Prepare the way of the Lord!!  John the Baptist is the alarm clock waking us up to embrace Jesus as our Lord and Master.  Jesus gives us the Holy Spirit so that we can be proclaimers of the Good News!!  May we share the joy of Jesus like St. Mark does in his gospel!

Fr. John concludes the series by referring to the first reading and the gospel this weekend as very clear indicators of what the mission of the Church is---Fr. John also presented the new pastoral year of PRAYER & CONVERSION. We need to fall in love with Christ if we are going to follow Him.
