This Sunday the gospel is about the Transfiguration----another epiphany and revelation of who Jesus is.  It is also about us and the need for mountain top experiences that give us encouragement and ignites within us the zeal to be faithful and loving disciples.  May we have those mountain top experiences often that beckon us to courageously and generously share the Good News!!

Fr. John continues this series focusing on the gift of God's covenant of love that we can discover when we enter into the desert of Lent. This covenant perfected through Christ gives us true freedom.

We need to enter into the desert to become focused, experience conversion and hear the voice of the Lord.  Lent is a joyful season of change for the better----to be missionaries in our world!  Listen to find out more!

Fr. John begins this new message series as we are about to enter the Lenten season. This series is rooted in the 2024 Lenten Message from Pope Francis who calls us to conversion embracing a flash of new hope. Are we willing to allow Jesus to heal us? Watch to find out more.

This coming weekend we celebrate the World Day of Prayer for the Sick (also Our Lady of Lourdes) on the 6th Sunday of Ordinary Time.  Jesus has compassion, heals and brings us new life.  May we seek the healing we need so that we can be the disciples in our world today.  Listen to how that happens!!

Fr. John concludes the message series reminding each of us that Jesus calls us to be fishers of people who bring others to Him. We need to trust and respond like Jonah, Simon, Andrew, James and John in the readings today. When we encounter Jesus we change direction and live differently---focusing on what is eternal and that which never fades away.

Jesus begins his ministry of preaching and healing.  He speaks and acts with authority----are we amazed at His love and grace in our own lives?  Can we be instruments of His love in our world today?  Listen to discover more!!

This weekend we hear the call of Simon, Andrew, James and John from the gospel of Mark.  It is quick, clear and direct.  What made these Apostles leave their jobs and families to follow Jesus?  Way too often we look at what we need to give up to follow Jesus rather than what and who we embrace by placing Him first in our lives.  What is the Lord calling us to do in our world today?  Listen to hear more!!

Fr. John continues the message series reminding us that we are brought to Christ by others around us. Eli guides Samuel to God in the first reading while John the Baptist leads Andrew to Jesus and then Andrew brings his brother Peter to Christ. May we always be aware of those around us who can truly help us encounter Jesus and may we bring others to Jesus by what we say and do.
