What are we searching for in our lives that brings completion and fulfillment? Does Jesus bring us wholeness and peace or do we search for Him looking to see what He can do for us? Jesus says I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE----if we welcome Him we will never be hungry or thirsty. What an amazing gift as Christ feeds us at each celebration of Mass.

Jesus sends his disciples out in pairs on mission without much---a staff, sandals and a tunic. No bread, no money, no extras. They had to rely on God's grace and not be distracted in their mission to bring love, joy and the gospel to the world. We too are sent out on mission with only what we need---Christ and each other as we work together bringing hope, healing and joy. Are you willing to risk and trust the Lord?

Knowing who Jesus really is as the Son of God makes a difference on how we live our daily lives. If He is the Messiah and the source of our lives---He comes first and above all. If Christ is just someone we know about and seek out for our own benefits we cannot be transformed by His love. May we surrender to Christ our Saviour!
