David Wells continues his reflections on discipleship by inviting us to trust the Lord who calls us to share the Good News!

David Wells comes to Chatham to talk about discipleship and reminds us that we simply need to be fools willing to surrender and follow the Lord.  This is a live recording of a conference at the Spirit & Life Centre (parish hall of St. Joseph Church, Chatham).

The landowner in the gospel this weekend is extremely unfair in his generosity.  It is a story Jesus uses to teach us of how God calls us as disciples to share the Good News----and those who join even at the very last will be honoured and given first place.  Can we be as generous?

How are we supposed to experience and share mercy?  This Sunday's gospel is a perfect guide for a life of wasteful forgiveness.  When we live forgiveness fully----we will change the world.  Listen to find out how we can do that this week.

We need to seek out reconciliation and resolution to conflicts by connecting with those we have difficulties with.  We can't just ignore things.  Jesus reminds us that he is always with us and he will give us the strength to live each day to the fullness of the Gospel.  May we have the courage to do that always!

Jesus reminds us that we must choose his path and not our own.  We can't manage Jesus to our advantage but to live a full life is one that is given away as a faithful disciple.  How do we do that in our lives today?  Listen to find out more!!

This weekend Jesus asks the disciples -- WHO DO YOU SAY THAT I AM?  He does this in the midst of the many different powers found around the disciples and even us today.  Who and what do we honour or worship in our lives?  Is Jesus our Lord, King, Master and Saviour?  Is he really the SON OF THE LIVING GOD?  Listen to hear more.

The gospel invites us to have persevering faith like the Canaanite woman seeking healing for her daughter from Jesus.  Her faithfulness, persistence and understanding of who Jesus is brings healing to her and her daughter.  Are we so trusting that we run to Christ in times of need or do we ask him why he is putting us through this?  Listen to hear more!

This weekend we hear Peter walking on water towards Jesus!!  When we stay focused on Christ we can do what seems to be impossible.  When we are distracted or waver from the Lord, we begin to sink.  How can we stay on track and draw close to Christ?  Listen to find out more!
